Product development

Founded in 1995 by Steve Wang, Contour Design Inc. is headquartered in Windham, New Hampshire, USA. This is where product development takes place and the North American market is served. Ever since the launch of our first ergonomic mouse, Contour has been the market leader in ergonomic computer mice. The award-winning ergonomic computer mouse - the RollerMouse Red - is the result of years of targeted research, development and design. Over the years, they have succeeded in changing the image of the ergonomic mouse from a mouse suitable only for a few people to a mouse for everyone who wants to avoid complaints resulting from working with a computer. So the incentive to continue investing in ergonomic mice is no longer purely a matter of symptom control, but also has the goal of ensuring that everyone who works with a computer has more energy and can do their work more efficiently. Contour Design was founded in 1995 with the premise of wanting to create a better working environment for the ordinary office worker, through ergonomics and preventive measures. They realize the social and environmental impact that our industry can have on local and international society, and we believe that good and profitable business can be done by, and not in spite of, sustainable and responsible business practices. Contour has chosen to implement the same way of thinking with regard to their product packaging. This means that they have now begun to introduce recycled cardboard into their packaging. As a manufacturing company, Contour Design has a great responsibility for how we treat our resources. The UN has set a goal of achieving a significant reduction in waste production by 2030 through prevention, reduction, recycling and reuse. We too contribute to this: we have begun to package our products sustainably.
