'We just want everyone to be comfortable and comfortable while working.' That is Be By Bèta's mission, and they take great pleasure in dedicating their every day to it. For over 50 years, Be By Bèta has been inventing, producing and selling a mix of office chairs, work chairs, conference chairs, side chairs and canteen chairs. All chairs are produced sustainably in the Netherlands, give each user the right support in every sitting position, fit into any interior and can be completely recycled. For everyone to sit well and comfortably, we work according to the 5 core values Be Dutch, Be Healthy, Be Green, Be Happy and Be You.

Businesses can make a huge difference when it comes to the environment and sustainability. That's why at Be by Beta we do business in a circular way. We have set up our company with an eye on design, ergonomics and, of course, sustainability. And that's important, because even our government has set the goal of making the Netherlands fully circular by 2050. We tell you how circular entrepreneurship is applied at Be by Bèta. At Be by Bèta we apply circular entrepreneurship throughout the entire production process. We select suppliers not only on their sustainable ambitions, but also on what they actually achieve. For that reason, we have best materials and the most beautiful fabrics. In addition, we use recycled materials. For example, the office chair Be Brave 200 consists of more than half of recycled materials. This Dutch product is also sustainably produced in our own factory! And if that is not sustainable enough, you can also extend the life of an office chair. For this purpose we have set up the Be Clean maintenance program. The chair is cleaned of bacteria, fine dust and house dust mites and the upholstery will last a lot longer. Is the office chair at the end of its life cycle? Then we will gladly take it back. The chair can be used to create new products. This can be done in very creative ways. For example, a cross base is used as a lighting fixture and the foam padding of the seat is perfect as a judo mat. Who would have thought? That's why we say about circularity: you have to be a little creative for it. Is the office chair (except for a few minor things) still in perfect working order? Then we will see if this "unwanted" chair can be further repaired. That way, an office chair can possibly be sold as a refurbished chair. In short: we keep sustainability in mind in every process.
