How to choose a good footrest?

Using a footrest will improve your working posture. We recommend a footrest when the seat height of your office chair is not adjustable or when the desktop is too high in relation to the height of the chair. With a desk footrest you create an ergonomic sitting posture and prevent complaints in the legs, shoulders and back.

Ergonomic advantage of a footrest

When you cannot place your feet flat on the floor while sitting with a right angle between your upper and lower legs and the no height-adjustable table at your disposal, a footrest can help.

When do I need a footrest?

  • If the seat height of your office chair is not properly adjustable, the lowest position is important here. Dangling legs can be compensated with a footrest.
  • The desktop is not adjustable low enough. Again, a footrest can help compensate for the sitting height toward the correct desktop level.
