We do our utmost to advise you well and provide you with ergonomic solutions immediately. If an item does not meet your needs, you can return or exchange the item (if unused, undamaged and in its original packaging) within 14 days of purchase. 

Defect after receipt or within the warranty period

We recognize the European guidelines and offer a 1-year warranty for business transactions and a 2-year warranty for private purchases.

Return or exchange conditions

Receipt of returns by Backshop does not imply acknowledgement by Backshop of the grounds for return stated by the buyer. The risk of returned goods remains with the buyer until they have been credited by Backshop BV.
When returned, the products are sent back at the expense and risk of the buyer.
Products may be removed from their packaging, but must not be visibly used, as new, in an undamaged, undescribed or covered packaging (equal to the original packaging) and complete with all accessories. We advise you to use extra packaging when shipping so that the original packaging is not damaged.
In principle, the original amount of the invoice minus our shipping costs will be credited, unless the product does not meet the conditions of return.
The product must be carefully and securely packed for transportation. If the product is carelessly packed, costs for repackaging and repair may be charged, otherwise the product is no longer marketable. This can amount from € 35,- up to 100% of the purchase value.
When not or partially not complying with the conditions stated in point 3, 4 and 5 Backshop BV is entitled to charge return costs of at least € 35,- excl. VAT, up to a maximum of the sales value of the product if it appears that the product is no longer marketable in this way. In the latter case the purchased product will be returned and the full invoice must be paid.

Exceptions

The right of return does not apply to:

• products that we have specially ordered for you, the customer, in accordance with specifications and sizes;
• products that by their nature cannot be returned (such as software or chairs that are specially made in terms of color or design);
• orders on which a service has already begun with the customer's consent;
  audio and video recordings and software whose seal has been broken;]
• offers, privacy filters and medical hardware.

In addition to these, Backshop BV also applies its terms and conditions of delivery, as filed with the Chamber of Commerce in Rotterdam, under number 24283470.
