Vluv is a brand focused on ergonomic sitting and active work with stylish sitting balls designed to promote a healthy and dynamic sitting posture. Since its founding in 2009, the company, which is headquartered in Germany, has offered comfortable seating solutions in the form of ergonomic sitting balls (VLUV) that stimulate circulation, strengthen back and neck muscles, and help improve posture in the workplace.

The company was founded in 2009. Kristof Hock, inventor and owner, started at home at the living room table. An old moped shed simultaneously served as a production facility and warehouse. Today, our team has grown to seven employees and the number is growing. Our company headquarters, with extensive office and warehouse space, is idyllically located by a river in a centuries-old wool spinning mill, 40 km east of Cologne. Here we develop, design and distribute our stylish products for ergonomics, movement and sports.

Healthy sitting means active sitting. That started some 30 years ago with the use of PVC gymnastic balls in many offices. But those had drawbacks. They rolled away, were sticky, impractical and unattractive. With VLUV, since early 2015, we have revolutionized the market by transforming a rubber ball into comfortable seating and a minimalist design object.
When selecting a product, it is important to determine in advance the purpose of the purchase and your requirements for the product. Then use our search filters to come to the selection of the right product that fits your symptom profile and workplace. No person is the same, so above all choose the product that suits your personal requirements. By adapting the workplace to the person rather than the other way around, many physical complaints are prevented or remedied.

Here you can choose the ball size based on your height. Tip: If you are between two ball sizes, 152-157 cm and 178-182 cm, choose the smaller size if you want to be comfortable; or choose the larger model if you want to be more active.
If you want to use the ball purely for sitting or exercising, then you can choose the size based on the first point. However, if you want to use your VLUV for working in the office, then location is also an important decision criterion. For ball sizes 55 and 75, you should use a height-adjustable desk, otherwise a comfortable, ergonomic sitting will not result. For standard tables with a height of about 74 cm, you should always use a VLUV 65, even with a smaller or higher height.
The Vluv sitting balls provide an upright and active sitting position. This stimulates circulation and trains the back, pelvic and neck muscles. It is recommended to use the sit ball for a maximum of three hours a day. So change your office chair regularly.
The double-stitched seams make the seat ball suitable for everyday use. A subtle ring at the bottom prevents rolling away (too) easily and a handle on the side facilitates moving the sitting ball.
