What is the difference between the Global work stool 1006 and 1008?

The Global 1006 and 1008 stools have exactly the same seat, however, the size of the base differs. The base of the Global 1008 is 47 cm in diameter (medium) and that of the Global 1006 is 40 cm in diameter (small). Because of this, the Global 1006 can be equipped with an extra low gas spring (upon request) and the Global 1008 can be equipped with two sizes higher gas spring.
