Elementary desk - student table

Learning while standing is fun...and healthy! Experience the difference by setting up two or more adjustable student tables in the classroom and allowing children to perform a task standing rather than sitting.

Why a sit/stand desk for children?

Practice shows that when children can choose which posture they adopt while performing a task, they feel more positive about performing the task and also concentrate better. Teachers indicate that work is more concentrated and, above all, tidier. Children themselves report being able to focus better on letters or numbers when they are standing instead of sitting while performing the task. In the classroom, it gives more peace when children can stand to work, instead of the familiar "wobble" on the chair.

Standing more often instead of remaining seated promotes good blood flow, reducing sugar and fat storage in the muscles. Regularly alternating posture improves concentration, productivity and creativity.

What size pupil table is suitable for whom?

• The minimum height of the desk is 71.5 cm and the maximum height is 112 cm.
• This makes the desk suitable for children from 120 cm to 175 cm tall.
• Age range from 6/7 years.

The Study Desk desktop is available in White, Wild Pear or Dark Oak. The available dimensions are 70×70 cm or 70×50 cm.

Our advice

The Study Desk is designed to be used alternately in a sitting or standing position. We recommend 30 minutes of standing, 50 minutes of sitting, 30 minutes of standing, 50 minutes of sitting, etc. In this way the movements are sufficiently alternated and a fixed posture is prevented.
